Initji first came to the art centre when she was a young girl. She came to do painting with her aunt, the well known artist and community leader, Alison Milyika Carroll. Initji’s grandmothers were also highly regarded Ernabella artists, Tjariya Stanley and Daisy Baker.
Initji first started making ceramics at school in Ernabella and today she continues to work with both ceramics and on canvas. Initji is an emerging and talented new artist.
