Artist bio

Natasha is in the early stages of her artistic career. Her uncle is the internationally renowned artist Pepai Jangala Carroll (dec).
Natasha was born in Hermannsburg, NT and she went to school in Alice Springs. She often tells stories of going fishing and swimming in Hermannsburg, travelling across the APY Lands in motorcars and memories from daily life. She moved to Ernabella as a young adult to be closer to family, and she now has a young son.
As well as developing her art practise, Natasha is an Arts Worker at Ernabella Arts, and has opportunities to travel to attend events and workshops.
Natasha’s narrative style of painting depicts community life with a quirky spin. She often paints on number plates and creates Toyota-shaped ceramic wall pieces.

Our Minyma Tjuta t-shirt comes from one of Natasha’s numberplates and depicts a group of ladies going out bush in the Toyota for a picnic.

Our T-shirts are 100% cotton.

Original artwork created in Pukatja, APY Lands and screen printed by hand in Pathawilyangga/Glenelg, South Australia.
